Financial Advice for Hazlet and Nearby Towns

We sit down with individuals, couples, families, business owners and retirees in Hazlet and the towns around it. Meet us at our office, or by phone or video if that suits you better. After we set up a plan, we check back so it keeps up with your life.

Where Our Clients Live and Work

Most of our clients live within a short drive of Hazlet. That includes Keyport, Matawan, Aberdeen, Union Beach and Keansburg along the bay, and Holmdel, Middletown, Morganville and Strathmore a little further in. We also work with people in Laurence Harbor, just across the water.

Distance matters less than you might think. Plenty of clients meet us in person the first time, then switch to phone or video for check-ins. Some never come to the office at all. Either way, you get the same work: a clear look at where your money stands, a written financial plan, and a call from us when it is time to look at it again. You can read about each service, from retirement planning to life insurance consulting, on its own page.

What Shapes Money Decisions Around Here

  • New Jersey taxes

New Jersey has its own income tax, and property taxes across the state run high. Both affect how much you can save and where it makes sense to keep it. We look at tax-aware choices as part of the plan, and our tax management page explains how we approach it.

  • Inheritance rules

New Jersey still has an inheritance tax for some heirs, depending on how they are related to the person who passed. That changes how families think about who gets what. We talk it through during legacy planning so nobody is caught off guard.

  • Commuters and business owners

A lot of people here commute to work in North Jersey or New York, and many others run their own shops and trades. Workplace plans, stock options, irregular income and business succession all come up. We sort out which pieces fit together.

  • Staying or moving in retirement

Retirees in the area often weigh whether to stay near family or move somewhere with lower costs. We lay out what each choice does to your income, taxes and long-term plan, then let you decide.

  • How we stay in touch

After your plan is in place, we schedule regular reviews. We check your portfolio against your goals, note what changed in your life, and tell you plainly what, if anything, needs attention.
